The total capacity of the Tolimarjon Thermal Power Plant JSC is 1,700 MW. The 800 MW Unit 1 was commissioned in 2004. The 450 MW Unit 1 was commissioned at the end of 2016, and the 450 MW Unit 2 was commissioned at the beginning of 2017. The plant produces an average of 7.2 billion kWh of electricity per year. 214 grams of conventional fuel are consumed to produce 1 kW of electricity at Units 1 and 2. The plant also produces 25,000 Gcal of thermal energy per year and supplies it to consumers.
There are 10 main workshops at the station, including the Boiler Turbine-1 Workshop, Boiler Turbine-2 Workshop, Chemical Water Treatment Workshop, Electrical Workshop, Central Repair Workshop, and Wastewater Facilities Workshop, Water Facilities Workshop, Drinking Water Supply Workshop, and Power Generation Workshop.
The station also has a children's camp named 'Sahibqiron'.
